Machine Shop

P&W has a fully equipped machine shop with a range of CNC Mills and Lathes, and single spindle lathes ranging in size from 6mm to 42mm, and we have two Gibbscam trained machinists on site.

Production of components from bar stock, in brass, alloy, stainless steel, and mild steel, and the manufacture of components for purpose built machines is done for a wide range of customers. Our machine shop specialises in production machining and general engineering, and services local industries, such as the wood, meat processing, and appliance manufacture industries.

P&W machining does tooling and component modification, and repair for aircraft servicing facilities (rotor and fixed wing), and production machining of casting for the company's non ferrous foundry, Giltech, and component machining for other foundries.

P&W produces hundreds of thousands of smaller components such as nuts and bolts, for example, Fisher and Paykel - 100.000 units a year, Giltech - 30.000 units a year.
