Hornby Stair Tower Access System
As part of Ravensdown's stage 2 upgrade to their site at Hornby, PW was contracted to manufacture and erect a 22m 6 level stair tower to provide access to the 15m high intake conveyor system (also built by PW). The sections were pre-fabricated and painted before being transported to site for installation. Using proprietary handrail and FRP grating the components selected provided an economical solution to this access requirement.
