Herringbone Washslug Reservoir

There are at present alot of Herringbone sheds out there that do not wash as good as they should especially in the milk reciver can area. In this case the farmer was noticing alot of Rainbow effect in his reciever can and this is an indication of protien build up (Bacteria) in the can due to the wash cycle not preforming as good as it should.

This of course has an effect on his SCC and  ends up costing money over time.  This is quite an easy fix by simply installing a wash resivoir at the end of the milkline coupled up to a pulse valve and timer.

The resivoiur holds a slug of washwater and during the washcycle the pulse valve operates and sends the slug of washwater down the milkline at a high velosity causing an excellent wash effect in the Reciever can and Milkline.
