Working at PW Engineering

At PW Engineering we are really proud of our team and their skills. Some of our staff have been with us for over 20 years and we’re constantly looking for qualified tradespeople or people who have worked with metal all their life but didn’t get round to getting the qualification to join us as Trade Assistants – it’s about attitude and work ethics, first and foremost for us!

We work very hard to create and maintain a safe working environment where robust discussion is seen as a positive, every opinion counts, and continuous improvement is encouraged.

Career Paths

We pride ourselves on promoting within wherever possible. We have people who have started in the workshop and gone to design; who joined as a tradesperson and moved to the stores; and people who've worked their way up from knowing nothing to leading projects on site.

Our goal is to share knowledge, grow, learn from each project and keep learning, for each of us, and for always.

Staff Training

Staff Training

Training is paramount at PW Engineering. All types of training are on offer, continuous development, health & safety, leadership, mental health awareness, conflict resolution, welding tickets, working at heights, forklift, you name it!

We work to the premise that if it’s work related and will benefit the person and the business, we will look at it.

Our Culture

Our Culture

Culture is who we are. We are an eclectic bunch and that’s the way we like it. Each person brings different aspects to our culture, but overall, it’s about honesty, integrity, caring about each other, and making it a safe and fun place to work.

Our Code of Conduct that each member of the company had input into speaks to how we expect our team members to conduct themselves and we stand by each person in our business to do just that.

"Getting the right people on our team, helping them grow, develop and achieve things they didn’t believe they could at first – that’s what pushes my buttons."
