In November 2013 Ravensdown engaged PW Engineering to develop the conceptual design and form a scope of work for their new facility in New Plymouth. PW Engineering linking the building design in with the mechanical plant was a key aspect and after 2 years of planning and working with Holmes Consulting, manufacturing started in August 2016.
The intake equipment was manufactured in Mosgiel and transported by road to New Plymouth for installation by our site team. PW Engineering fabricated the structural steelwork for the blending plant and manufactured the stainless steel hoppers before assembling the system complete with the specialist mixing plant from Sackett Waconia USA.
After commissioning the plant was handed over to the Ravensdowns operations team in March 2018.
