The ground breaking precision blending system for Ravensdown in Christchurch was an exciting project to be involved with. This innovative system has necessitated the accurate fabrication of complex steel structures in order to integrate with the required plant. Along with the manufacture and erection of the main structure PW Engineering has assembled and installed the specialist mixing & conveying equipment imported from A.J Sackett & Sons in the USA. The stainless steel main holding hoppers were also fabricated by PW and the access ways are fitted with FRP grating and handrails to withstand this corrosive environment.
