O’Briens came to us with a need, the idea was for a machine to lift and turn MDF boards in their factory. The large board size range and restricted space limited the available options.
The concept design was developed, and a prototype was built to demonstrate and verify the proposed method.
After design approval, we built the entire machine and installed it over the Christmas shutdown to minimise disruption.
As a result of this project, the risk of injury is reduced by a machine that does the heavy lifting, safeguarding the team at O’Brien's.
