Meateor Foods engaged PW Engineering to design/build a replacement twin screw offal hopper including compliant guarding and a cleaning platform. The new hopper was fabricated from 5mm G304 stainless steel plate and designed in such a way so that the existing augers and drives were able to be reused greatly reducing the costs to Meateor Foods.
