PW Engineering has a fully equipped machine shop with a range of CNC & manual machines along with production CAM lathes with spindles ranging from 6mm to 42mm.
Production of components from bar stock, in brass, alloy, stainless steel, and mild steel, and the manufacture of components for purpose-built machines. Our machine shop specialises in production machining and general engineering machining for local industries, such as the wood, meat processing, and appliance manufacture industries.
PW Engineering also carries out machining of castings and component machining for foundries.
From small general engineering fabrication to major plant construction PW Engineering has you covered. Our highly skilled team of fabrication trades people are experienced in the manufacture of structural steel fabrications, materials handling equipment and small general engineering fabrication.
Our fabrication trades people are all trained in a wide range of welding processes across multiple materials including steel, stainless steel, and alloys. All structural welding carried out complies to AS/NZS 1554 with a minimum of two qualified welding supervisors on site routinely monitoring quality.
PW Engineering carries out shut down and programmed maintenance for several customers around the South Island. We carry out maintenance in a wide variety of industries including meat processing, timber processing, lime quarries and fertilizer manufacture. Many of our customers have been with PW Engineering from the beginning and continue to ask for our assistance with their maintenance needs.
